In Episode 22 of Inside the WDF, there's a tribute to the late Alan Glazier and Andrew is joined by three special guests to look back on the final results of the WDF Virtual Cup. First off (2:24), Men's runner-up Alan Soutar comes on to discuss what 2020 has been like for him, playing a lot of online darts, winning the JDC Virtual World Challenge, reaching the Virtual Cup final and whether he'll consider Q School in 2021. USA Darts commentator and streamer Will Stuart then joins the show (24:08) to chat about his background in the sport, starting Quarantine Darts, linking up with USA Darts, streaming the WDF Virtual Cup knockout rounds and his tournament highlights. Germany's Irina Armstrong (39:35) rounds out this month's guests, talking to Andrew about how she first got into the sport, winning the World Cup pairs for Russia and then switching to represent Germany, taking four years to play her best at Lakeside, and why she's done less of the tour in recent years.
