In Episode 7 of the Masters of the World series, Andrew is joined by 'Jabba' Jamie Caven. The pair discuss: Jamie losing the sight in his right eye at 18 months old, winning the World Youth Masters in 1993, having to have his pancreas removed at 20 and the effects that's had since, making his PDC Worlds debut at the 2008 event, winning his first PDC title in 2009, doing the double at a PC weekend in 2013, facing Barney at back-to-back World Championships, dropping off the PDC Tour at the end of 2018, doing some BDO events last year, joining the PDPA board, his future plans and much more. In Episode 22 of Inside the WDF, there's a tribute to the late Alan Glazier and Andrew is joined by three special guests to look back on the final results of the WDF Virtual Cup. First off (2:24), Men's runner-up Alan Soutar comes on to discuss what 2020 has been like for him, playing a lot of online darts, winning the JDC Virtual World Challenge, reaching the Virtual Cup final and whether he'll consider Q School in 2021. USA Darts commentator and streamer Will Stuart then joins the show (24:08) to chat about his background in the sport, starting Quarantine Darts, linking up with USA Darts, streaming the WDF Virtual Cup knockout rounds and his tournament highlights. Germany's Irina Armstrong (39:35) rounds out this month's guests, talking to Andrew about how she first got into the sport, winning the World Cup pairs for Russia and then switching to represent Germany, taking four years to play her best at Lakeside, and why she's done less of the tour in recent years. The pair discuss Tony turning to darts after getting stabbed, playing county for Hertfordshire, the differences between him and his brother, losing to Mark Dudbridge in the 2002 World Masters final, winning the 2003 event and denying Barney an unprecedented 'Grand Slam', making his Lakeside debut in 2004, moving to The Netherlands to escape his troubled past, switching to the PDC in 2012, getting whitewashed by his brother in one of his last competitive outings, and having to retire from the sport a few years ago through ill health. The pair discuss Stephen's route into the sport, winning the World Youth Singles and World Youth Masters in 2001, qualifying for Lakeside at 18, winning his first ranking event in 2008, becoming the first player to win the Youth and Senior World Masters singles titles in 2012, winning the World Masters without dropping a set in 2013, achieving his dream of winning the Lakeside in 2014, switching to the PDC, his great debut year as a professional, suffering some dark times and coming out on the other side, his current form and hopes for the future.
