We may not have had a BDO World Championships to watch this year but the tournament still holds fond memories for many and to celebrate the legacy of the tournament, Andrew caught up with former BDO Master of Ceremonies Richard Ashdown.
The pair discuss Richard's first memories of watching the tournament, attending his first Lakeside in 1994, his relationship with Bobby George and getting the call off the floor to start spotting for the BDO in 2002, working as a spotter for over a decade, taking up the mantle as Master of Ceremonies for six years, and a selection of his favourite walk-ons, finals, individual games and single tournaments.
